A witness has reported that three explosions were heard and then electricity was cut on Tuesday (27 September) in Ukraine’s second city, Kharkiv.
"There are no lights at certain parts of the city." Kharkiv's mayor Ihor Terekhov said in Telegram that information about casualties was being provided. He also reported a fourth attack.
Terekhov said that an infrastructure facility had been damaged and that authorities were working hard to restore power as soon as possible.
This report came after a rocket attack on Kharkiv on 9 September, in which at most 10 people were injured. Officials from Ukraine claimed that the attack was revenge for Russia's victories on the battlefield.
